Cushionride Olympian

It a surface half way between Cushionride and Green Track, is manufactured using standard Cushionride and the unwashed silica sand. The two natural products compliment one another. The sand adds weight to the wood fibre and the Cushionride adds moisture to the sand, thus producing a heavier surface. UK CUSHION LTD would recommend this type of surface if long reining or lunging and when jumping over 1.2m.

Green Track

We have been determined to find a surface that meets all the demands of the various equine disciplines. Working closely with the whole industry, we strongly believe that we have found the surface that is most natural for horses, ‘like a good quality turf’.

Wood Fibre

Our research shows that the size of the wood fibre is imperative in fusion of the riding surface. This has been thoroughly tested by Dr Pitman from The WRAP Product Research Centre. Wood fibres give ‘Green Track’ the constant footing and hoof comfort in various climate extremes. ‘Green Track’ is made of all environmentally friendly materials and can be supplied in green or standard colour.

Silica Sand

‘Green Track’ equine sand is relatively light and firm, a free drainage surface. It has been tried and tested, particle sizes graded to aid the drainage properties. It has an angular characteristic, which gives better compaction and thus provides a firmer ride.

Binding Agent

The added natural binding agent ensures the silica sand and wood fibre knit and root together. It gives ‘Green Track’ secure and firm footing with minimum kick back and a natural feel for performance.
The binding agent is ideal as it is a natural product and does not have the inherited problems of using a petroleum based agent.
